This picture was actually taken on Day 3, but this sign was the first thing I noticed as we entered our campground. Big Bend has several campsites (as well as back country primitive camping options, but I’m still too much of a sissy to carry food and water that far). We camped in the Chisos Mountains site, where the biggest and scariest animals live. The mountains also have the most enviable temperatures. Cooler in the day and warmer at night.
